At The Gambling Angler, we’re passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable fishing environment for everyone — from complete beginners to seasoned anglers. This Code of Conduct outlines the behaviour we expect from all participants, spectators, parents, and volunteers involved in any of our events, sessions, or venues.

2. Respect for Others

• Treat all anglers, and coaches with kindness and courtesy.
• Absolutely no bullying, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour will be tolerated — in person or online.
• Support and encourage younger or less experienced participants, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Refrain from using foul or inappropriate language.

3. Respect for the Environment

• Follow all environmental guidelines at each location.
• Do not litter. Dispose of all rubbish, line, and bait waste responsibly.
• Respect wildlife, plants, and the water.
• Always return fish safely to the water and handle them with care if not to be retained.

4. Safety First

• Follow all safety instructions given by staff or signage.
• Ensure children are always supervised by a responsible adult.
• Wear appropriate clothing and safety equipment, especially near water.
• Alcohol, illegal drugs, or being under the influence is strictly prohibited during all sessions.

5. Parental & Guardian Responsibilities

• Parents/guardians are responsible for the behaviour and safety of children in their care.
• Encourage positive participation and good sportsmanship.
• Make organisers aware of any medical conditions that may affect participation.

6. Event & Session Rules

• Arrive on time and be prepared with the correct gear unless otherwise provided.
• Any instructions from coaches, guides, or The Gambling Angler staff must be followed promptly.
• Repeated breaches may result in removal from activities or being barred from future sessions.

7. Reporting Misconduct

If you witness or experience behaviour that breaches this Code of Conduct, please report it to a member of staff immediately. Reports are treated confidentially and taken seriously.

8. Breach of Code

The Gambling Angler reserves the right to remove any individual from events, coaching sessions, or venues for serious or repeated violations of this Code. In severe cases, this may result in permanent exclusion without refund.
